Tilley Hemp fabric has been tested and certified as having a UPF 50+; this is the maximum UV protection rating given. Brim measurements: 3" all around. This is your confirmation that our Hats excel at doing their job - which includes helping you look good, and helping to keep you looking good. Tilley's guarantee: If you ever succeed in wearing out your Tilley Hat, send Tilley the remains and they will replace it free. If you want to keep your faithful, old, worn-out friend, tell them and they we'll return it to you. They understand. Upon purchase, your Hat is covered by a two year, all-peril, 50% deductible, Hat Insurance Policy to take the pain out of loss or irreparable damage. Hat Sizing: Order options are given in inches and hat size. If you already know your regular hat size, please order one size larger when you order your Tilley. WASHING INSTRUCTIONS: Wash it frequently or non-removable sweat stains will mar it and possibly rot it. Machine or hand wash in warm or cool water. Do not use bleach as it remains inside the Hat, slowly rotting it. Smooth and reshape the Hat by hand and set it out to air dry. Sizes 6 7/8 to 7 xbe (orderable as S, M, L, & XL). Available in Natural Hemp color and Natural with Black Band & Piping (special order only). Special orders take about 8-10 days to ship.
